I think my love of all things craft came from my grandmother; she had an amazing craft room. She had many biscuit tins full of buttons. We would make dolls clothes together. I lost interest as a teenager. 3 babies took over my life. I started sewing again when they were toddlers making some of their clothes.
As the children got older I went back to full time work and life took over.
I moved to Korumburra when my husband retired and found the spinners group and some very talented ladies.
I still don't always have time because of work (lucky I luv my job) but when I do I like learning about spinning, weaving, felting.
At the moment I'm having a go at macrame and trying to learn to crochet.
