ON-LINE EXHIBITION OF GROUP'S WORK HELD BY THE HAND SPINNERS & WEAVERS GUILD OF VICTORIA

The group was invited by the Hand Spinners & Weavers Guild of Victoria to mount an on-line exhibition for display on their site. The exhibition could be from 10 to 25 items which had to be submitted to the co-ordinator photographed on a white background with a description of materials used and method of construction. Members of the group who were interested in participating brought their items to group meetings for review and in all a total of 23 items were selected.

The group was extremely lucky when member Glenda suggested her husband, Gary, a professional photographer, would be willing to bring his light box to a meeting and undertake the task. These photographs were then uploaded to the co-ordinator together with descriptions for collation.

On the day of the launch, 26th June 2021, members attended a Zoom launch of the exhibition which is live on the Guild's site and were asked in turn to talk about their item as it came up on the screen. Everyone did a super job of presenting their project and have since received accolade from the co-ordinator on the friendly and expert manner in which his was done.
